Split mount, which means you do not have to remove everything off of your handlebars to install it. It comes with the little allen wrench for installation on your 7/8" handldebars. (Doesn't fit the 1" V Twin cruiser handlebars)
This switch is "normally closed," with the teather plug installed. Pull out the plug, it opens the circuit. It is now chrome plated too.
