Our new GPS (gear position sensor) allows the Hayabusa to exceed the 185 mph speed limiter without effecting the performance of the lower gears and still allows the gear indicator (on 08 models) to function up to 5th gear!
This new GPS is the fix, not just a Band-Aid, for de-restricting the Suzuki Hayabusa.

*Note - GPS sensor is located behind the clutch basket, inside the engine. You will have to remove your clutch basket for installation.
What's the difference between this and a TRE? A TRE is a device that tricks the ECU into thinking the bike is in 5th gear. This means the bike is running in the 5th gear timing and fuel map at all times. The gear indicator will also read "5" no matter what gear the bike is actually in. The GPS fix only makes the bike think it's in 5th gear when it is in 5th and 6th. This eliminates the 6th gear speed restrictor and allows the gear indicator to read the proper gear up to 5th.
